HEACOTEX Aluminium Foil Tape

HEACOTEX aluminium foil tape is an installation accessory used to secure heating cables to the surface being heated — typically pipes and tanks — and to improve heat transfer between the cable and that surface. The aluminium face spreads heat across the contact area and the high-tack adhesive holds the cable in position before final fixing and insulation.

Application

Securing heating cable to pipework and tanks before the application of thermal insulation. Use in conjunction with GT30 fibreglass tape (over the heating cable) for the most reliable installation.
